Following recent updates to [Polkadot’s tokenomics](https://polkadot.cloud/blog/en/what-is-the-dap-explained) —including increased self-bond requirements for validators and a reduction in rewards allocated to nominators—continuing to offer a competitive and sustainable staking service on this network is no longer viable. 

**As a result, Kiln will be decommissioning its support for Polkadot staking on the 30th of April 2026.** Please redelegate prior to this deadline, our team is available to support you to ensure a smooth migration

**Currently all our public validators are set at 100% commission for our B2B customers. If you delegate to them without an agreement with Kiln, you will not earn any rewards.** \

**This also applies to our nomination pool, as it exclusively nominates our validators.**

## Staking workflow
